Big thanks to Baseline 4x4 and Rugged Ridge/Omix-ADA
I just wanted to post this for some info.
About a year and a half ago i got at Rugged Ridge SYE/CV driveshaft kit from Baseline 4x4. It fit great and has been a really good product especially for the money.
A couple weeks ago i destroyed the driveshaft. Seems to be a freak occourance as i have found no cause. The u joint may have failed taking the driveshaft with it. I only found pieces of joint.
I have some pics but don't have access to them now. I'll post them later. Basically both ears were broken off on the axle side. The u joint was in pieces.
So i decided to call Baseline 4x4 becuse the shaft had a 3 year warranty on it. Tony, and Sandy said to send some pics so i did. They forwarded them to Rugged Ridge and within a day or so they said to send the old one to Rugged Ridge/Omix-ADA. So i shipped it to them and yesterday a brand new shiny driveshaft showed up! YAY!
I guess i posted this not to really review the driveshaft itself and i hope i don't have any more issues with it. But i did want to let everyone know that Baseline 4x4 and Rugged Ridge/Omix-ADA stand behind what they sell.
Thanks again to the great folks at Baseline 4x4 and Rugged Ridge/Omix-ADA.

Mind if I ask what you were doing when it broke? I know you were at the park, but were you just tooling around, or tackling something when it let go?
Check your rear yoke now too. My YJ threw a shaft once after a ujoint failure. After that initial occurrence, it threw the shaft 3 more times, just driving down the road. Always a ujoint failure at the axle yoke. It bent the yoke slightly and kept eating ujoints at a rapid pace, only a few weeks at most between failures. Put a new yoke on and problem solved. That was on a D35, and I know you swapped to the 8.8, but should probably make sure that yoke isnt bent just to be safe

I was trying to climb a rock face. Nothing weird. I did the same spot with the same shaft before. I did also get a new axle adapter flange just in case. The. Old one looks fine and mica out as straight. Could have stress cracks though. I'm gonna use it on my jy spare rear that I have now.
